‘Incremental’ is an 18-month project aimed at understanding the data management practices and needs of researchers in diverse fields of study working at University of Cambridge and University of Glasgow. During our tenure, we will design and pilot new flexible services and guidance resources to help streamline and improve the process of active data management within academic departments and research groups.
As our name suggests, ‘Incremental’ is a first step in the ongoing work to rationalize the the deluge of research data, to keep important research information accessible, interpretable, and safe for the future.
